Salon des Refuses Exhibition, Concord, NH

MAY 4 – JUNE 4, 2017
The Galleries at Kimball Jenkins Estate
266 North Main Street, Concord, NH 03301

In 1863, so many paintings were rejected by the Paris Salon, the official annual showcase of French art, that Emperor Napoleon III ordered a new exhibition to be organized, dubbed the “Salon des Refusés." In the spirit of the “Salon des Refusés” the Monotype Guild of New England called upon its members to submit a print previously rejected by a juror.

As a member of the MGNE I will be showing my encaustic monotype "Channeling Earth 14."
